Hong Kong’s Construction Industry Council (CIC) has launched an exciting “Master Talk” series as part of its ongoing Design for Future, Build for Life campaign.

The flagship programme aims to ignite the passions of primary and secondary students eager to learn more about the construction industry by offering interactive tours and professional sharing sessions at over 10 iconic infrastructures around Hong Kong. By fostering curiosity and providing valuable insights, CIC is on a mission to inspire the next generation of constructors and shape the city’s future.

“Master Talk” represents an unprecedented collaboration between Hong Kong’s construction industry and government departments. Led by engineering and construction professionals alike, these captivating sessions cover a variety of topics, including design engineering, facilities operations, and innovative construction technology. The ultimate goal is to spark the imagination of students and nurture their aspirations to pursue careers as engineers and architects.

Accessible to both primary and secondary school students, the programme offers engaging videos brimming with educational content on the campaign’s website, www.constructionhk.org. Over 300 students have benefitted from CIC’s “Master Talk” sessions so far, gaining invaluable industry insights and exploring a wide range of career pathways.
