Booking.com’s Traveller Review Awards 2025 reveal the world’s most welcoming cities this year

Booking.com, one of the world’s leading digital travel platforms, is excited to announce its 13th annual Traveller Review Awards, which includes the 10 Most Welcoming Cities on Earth for 2025, providing travellers a comprehensive guide to make travel easier for everyone. Among the winners, 170 accommodations in Hong Kong have gained recognition around the globe.

According to a survey conducted by Booking.com, a record of 1.7 million travel partners across 212 countries and territories are being recognised with Booking.com’s Traveller Review Awards in 2025 for their exceptional hospitality. Italy continues to lead in the 8th consecutive year with the highest count of award winners, totaling 207,730, followed by France with 155,203 and Spain with 147,700.

Hong Kong is recognised for its impressive hospitality and quality of service. The city boasts 170 hotels, apartments, guest homes, and other lodging options that have received excellent ratings from travellers on Booking.com, marking an increase by 38 accommodations from the last year. Notably, 18 of these accommodations in Hong Kong have achieved scores above 8.5 in reviews on Booking.com. These are as follows (in alphabetical order):
