New Art Est-Ouest Auctions announces 2024 Hong Kong Autumn Auction as it celebrates its 40-year legacy


New Art Est-Ouest Auctions, Japan’s oldest international auction house, will launch its 2024 Hong Kong Autumn Auction on 5 October, preceded by a public preview of the exhibiting works from 28 September to 4 October.
This season’s items include works by photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, sought-after contemporary artists Huang Yuxing and Yuan Goangming, and Chinese calligraphy and paintings by celebrated artists Wu Changshuo and Fu Shan, with over 130 auction pieces going under the hammer.
New Art Est-Ouest Auctions was established in 1984, and this year will mark 40 years of excellence of bringing Asian art to international audiences. The 2024 Hong Kong Autumn Auction will present exceptional artworks from around the globe, placing particular focus on Japan, mainland China, and Taiwan, showcasing New Art Est-Ouest Auctions’ deep understanding and passionate promotion of Asian art and culture. The auction invites viewers to explore the elegance and philosophical essence of Eastern art, bringing a fresh perspective and experience to Hong Kong’s art scene.
