The Aubrey redefines lunchtime dining with exquisite bento lunch sets and seasonal cocktails


Award-winning Japanese restaurant and bar The Aubrey presents new bento lunch sets to elevate lunchtime dining alongside three exquisitely crafted cocktails exclusively available for the Spring/Summer season.
Perched on the 25th floor of the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, elevated Japanese Izakaya, The Aubrey, has introduced a brand-new set lunch menu featuring three expertly curated bento sets. Complementing the culinary experience, The Aubrey – celebrated as one of Hong Kong's best Japanese bars – is presenting a new seasonal cocktail menu that showcases three innovative cocktails inspired by the refreshing essence of Cantaloupe Melon.
Experience Izakaya lunchtime dining in the heart of Hong Kong
The acclaimed Izakaya has three set lunch options, each elegantly presented in handcrafted wooden boxes, brimming with fresh, authentic ingredients. The Three-layer Bento Set (HKD488*) begins with Chawanmushi, followed by a choice of main such as Shogayaki with Steamed Rice, Robatayaki Saba, Chicken or Portobello Katsu Sando, amongst other enticing options. Accompaniments to the main course include delectable sides like Tsukemono, Asparagus Tempura with Shiso Mayo, Bara Maki and Nigiri Selection, Wakame Salad and Miso Soup. Conclude your meal with a sumptuous dessert, such as the Sake Pear or the delightful Matcha Ice Cream.
Alternatively, guests can enjoy the luxurious Chirashi Don Set (HKD678*) which features Chawanmushi, Kaiso Salad, Chef’s Sashimi Selection over Edomae Rice, and Miso Soup alongside a choice of dessert. A third option is the Don Buri Set (HKD528*) featuring Chawanmushi, a choice of main such as Pork Katsu or Miyazaki Wagyu Tenderloin, Tsukemono, 3 kinds of Chef's Sashimi Selection, and Miso Soup alongside a choice of dessert.
To further elevate the Izakaya lunch experience, diners can enhance their meal with menu supplements including sustainably sourced Daily Oysters (HKD216 for two*) and the tantalising Saikyo Miso Sablefish (HKD418*).
Seasonal cocktails showcase the refreshing flavours of Cantaloupe Melon
Devender Sehgal, Beverage Manager at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, has artfully crafted three exquisite cocktails that embrace the sweet and light flavours of Cantaloupe Melon which are exclusively available for the Spring/Summer season. Experience a daquiri cocktail like no other with the Sochu & Melon Daiquiri (HKD180*), prepared with Cantaloupe Melon, Ki No Bi Gin, Sweet Potato Shochu, Honey, Citrus, and Lavender. Transport yourself to an enchanting realm of cherry blossoms when sipping on the Japanese Summer (HKD180*), featuring Cantaloupe Melon, Haku Vodka, Tamras Gin, Basil, and Citrus. For something more subtle and smoky, Merone (HKD180*) combines Cantaloupe Melon with Awamori, Mezcal, Ancho, Citrus and Angostura.
